   1- Obtain a certificate of analysis (CoA) for the product from an accredited laboratory. The CoA should include information on the product’s composition, microbiological and chemical analysis, and other relevant data.

   2- Obtain a commercial registration certificate from the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) or the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI). This certificate serves as proof that the product is legally allowed to be sold in Egypt.

   3- Submit an application for product registration to the NFSA, along with the CoA, commercial registration certificate, and other required documents. The application should include detailed information about the product, such as its intended use, ingredients, packaging, and labeling.

   4- Pay the applicable registration fees and wait for the NFSA to review the application. The NFSA may conduct a risk assessment of the product to ensure it is safe for consumption and meets all relevant regulations and standards.

   5- Once the application is approved, the product will be granted a registration certificate and can be legally marketed and sold in Egypt. The registration certificate is typically valid for a period of three years, after which it must be renewed.
